When and where are your services?

We have one family worship service every Sunday morning at 8.30am. The service runs for about an hour and is followed by morning tea in our back hall and patio.

We also hold an evening service at 5.30pm every Sunday at which we hear a different sermon and close the day in worship together. Occasionally we have special services, like Christmas Day or Good Friday too.

All our services take place at our building on the corner of Toral Drive and Stringybark Road in Buderim, about 1km from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Parking is accessible from Toral Drive. The carpark next door at Toral Lodge Childcare can be used if our carpark is full.

What can I expect?

Our Sunday morning worship services are about gathering together as followers of Jesus to worship God and encourage one another.

During our worship services we sing together, we pray, and we hear the Bible read and taught. Then we spend time together over tea or coffee getting to know each other and encouraging each other. Occasionally we might have other items or presentations in our services, like baptisms, or when we have a visiting missionary, or when we are highlighting a particular ministry.

On the first Sunday of each month, we also celebrate the gospel together in the Lord's Supper. This is a way for those who know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour to remember the gospel together, and look forward to Jesus coming back. Those not participating are encouraged to reflect on who Jesus is and what the Bible claims about him, and consider what choices they might need to make about Jesus.

Visitors are always welcome to join our worship services, but won't be expected to give, pray or read out loud, and you won't be singled out in the service. We're just glad for your company. Everything that happens is clearly explained by the service leader. You don't need to be familiar with anything about church to come along.

How can I make the most of my visit?

You don't need to bring anything along to our services, except yourself. Some people like to bring their own Bible (we recommend the English Standard Version, the Christian Standard Bible, or the New International Version, and a notebook and pen to write down things they want to remember from the sermon, but that's all totally up to you. Everything you need is provided, and if you'd like a Bible, please ask and we'd be glad to gift you one.

When you arrive,  you'll be welcomed at the front door by one of the Welcome Team members. Tell them it's your first time, and they'll make sure you get a welcome bag, and help you with anything you may need. If you want to talk to or pray with someone, they can also help with that.

On the way in you'll be given a service outline. This will have all the information for the service, a place to take notes on the sermon, information about upcoming activities and contact details for the pastoral staff. Feel free to take this home with you.

After the service, plan to stay a little later and join us for morning tea. We'd love to meet you and get to know you, and your family.

What about my kids?

During school terms, we offer Sunday School for children from Kindy to Grade 6 during the second half of our morning service. Using curriculum developed by Mustard Seeds Ministries, our Sunday School provides engaging, age-appropriate Bible teaching that helps children grow in their knowledge and love of God. Children return to the service after the sermon so that families can finish worshipping together.

For infants and toddlers, we provide a supervised Crèche where our youngest children can enjoy a safe, caring, and nurturing environment while their parents and carers participate in the service.

We also have an air-conditioned Parents'-n-Bubs' Room with an audio feed from the service, providing a comfortable space for parents and carers who wish to remain with their little ones while still participating in the service. Grace has a proactive approach to Safe Ministry, managed through Safe Ministry Check

Can't make it to Grace

While being together in person is 'first-prize', if you're unable to be with us we'd love you to join us online. You can watch the service live on our Youtube page and on our web site. The sermon is recorded, and will be available through our Faithlife page after the service.
