Welcome!
Welcome to the web site of Grace Christian Church, Buderim, Queensland, Australia. Our church is located close to the University of The Sunshine Coast, and ministers especially to the suburbs of Buderim, Chancellor Park, Sippy Downs and the wider Sunshine Coast. The Sunshine Coast is located about 100km north of the state capital Brisbane.

While we are affiliated with Westminster Presbyterian Church, an Australian denomination in the reformed tradition established with assistance from the Presbyterian Church in America, because of our strong Jesus-focus we have become the spiritual home for families and individuals from a wide variety of denominational traditions. Our aim is to offer ministries which are multi-cultural, multi-age, biblical and relevant.

Because of our proximity to the university, our church is enriched by the presence of university students from Asia, Europe and The Americas. In addition, our church building houses a separate Mandarin-speaking Chinese congregation.

Through our Bible teaching ministry (we usually teach through whole books of the Bible in expository style), we focus not on denomination or the secondary practices over which Christian brothers and sisters may differ, but on what the Bible calls “the things of first importance” – the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

Our prayer is that our ministries will produce followers of Jesus who live as followers of Jesus, that is, people who trust in Jesus as Lord and live out his teaching in their lives. Our Sunday ministries are supported by a network of mid-week home groups, Bible studies, seniors ministries, youth and children’s ministries, and ministries to local nursing homes.

We hope you visit us soon!
